This isn't going to be a constant theme...

Football has inspired me to write again. Don't stop reading. Two things:

1) This one won't be as introspective
2) I don't intend to make a habit of sports-related posts. But this really fries my rice.

Brett Favre broke a couple of bones in his foot last Sunday. He currently holds the record for most consecutive games started by any football player. It's still active and currently at 291. That means he has been the starting quarterback for whatever team he's played for every football Sunday since September 27, 1992. I'm not Favre fan, but I mention that because it's a big deal that the streak could end on Sunday and everyone all over sports is talking about it.

ESPN is filled with so-called journalists and analysts. Multiple times over the last few days I've heard this: "Favre's two fractures in his foot could put his consecutive-starts streak in jeopardy." NO, DUMMIES! Not could. He may not start on Sunday so his streak IS CURRENLY in jeopardy. UGH.

That is all.
